JMC are now putting the final touches on Launceston’s new Peppers Silo Hotel. Pfeiffer Cranes are honored to have been a part of this triumphant construction, contributing new growth for the Tasmanian economy.
Peppers Silo Hotel consists of 108 rooms, including 52 in the original barrels of the former silos. Although landscaping is still underway, the complex is set to open in less than a month, with gala events predicted to celebrate Launceston’s newest luxury visitor accommodation.
The assembling and dismantling of the equipment used on the silos, a four-day process in total, was the challenge undertaken and accomplished by Pfeiffer Cranes.
Pfeiffer cranes GMK6300L and GMK6400T were utilized for this project, which are the largest cranes of any fleet in the state of Tasmania.
